Our Artistic Team is comprised of not only exceptionally talented individuals, but also individuals who's Love of Country, Love of Culture and Love of the Arts has led them to a life dedicated to promoting Lebanese Heritage and Traditions.

Jerry Absi

General Manager and Artistic Producer

Jerry Absi is the co-founder and Director of the Stars of Lebanon Theatre Company. His hard work and dedication to preserving Lebanese Heritage and Traditions is evident in the work he does.

His background and expertise in the Theatrical field has spanned over two decades in all artistic forms. Since graduating from the University of Ottawa with a BA in Theatre in 1982 he has Produced, Directed, Designed, and Acted in over 80 theatrical productions and festivals in different capacities for a variety of charitable and private organizations.

Jerry is extraordinary among the Canadian Lebanese arts community and is one of the foremost Lebanese cultural leaders in Ottawa, undoubtedly because he has worked in every capacity of theatre - from acting and directing to set design and producing original Lebanese productions.

In addition to his work with the Stars of Lebanon Theatre Company, he is currently the producer of Sawt el Noujoum Arabic Radio Show on CHIN Radio Ottawa.

André Ibrahim

Artistic and Musical Director

André Ibrahim is a fundamental personality in the Lebanese and Arabic Communities in Canada and abroad.

As the co-founder and Artistic and Musical Director with the Stars of Lebanon Theatre Company he has helped it soar to new heights with His dedication, appreciation and knowledge of many diverse artistic forms and a passion for live theatre.

His Education and background in Music, Vocals and Theories Studies from the Lebanese Kaslik University, the Lebanese National Conservatory, the Roussol Musical Institute (where he studied with Zaki Nassif) and the Byzantine Music Faculty only helped to enrich not only his knowledge, but also his talent.

André has an incredible history of composing, producing, performing and directing several productions serving not only to preserve Lebanese Heritage and Traditions but also to help it progress.

In addition to his theatrical accomplishments, he has written and recorded 5 successful CD's and is a staple in the Byzantine Music community. André has performed all over the world, has been a member of the well known group of Fairouz and continues to amaze the Lebanese community with his talents and creativity.
