Ziad Rahbany

Everytime you speak about Ziad Rahbany, everybody has a different opinion. Some support him, others criticize, some love him, others hate him.

But from our perspective Ziad is our idol, whether it's about music, composing, or theatre.

This opinion was due to the ongoing studying about his ideologie, and artistic life. As most people want Ziad to follow his fathers foot steps, we think opposite, we love the individual he has became, different, one of the best composers and musicians of the Arabic world, and internationally.

If we talk about Ziad and his theatrical experience, we should admit that his theatre, is one of the most reality plays ever, it will let you forget the difference between being the actor, or the audience. And lest we forget, about him as a great actor too.

We presented "A Night Witth Ziad" on the 5th   6th of june 1999, we chose 3 scenes from 3 different plays, and many of his famous songs.

We have already received permition from Ziad, for our 2004 production, a play written by him, about all his work, arranged by our group.

زياد الرحباني

كلما تكلمت عن زياد الرحباني, تسمع أراء مختلفة فيه. فبعض يؤيده, وآخر ينتقده , بعض يحبه, وآخر يبغضه . أما في منظار فرقة نجوم لبنان, زياد يعتبر مثال أعلى لنا, إن كان في الموسيقى, واللحن, والفن المسرحي, وهو أيضا من المساهمين في الهوية الفنية اللبنانية, ولو كان في خط مختلف.هذا ألرأي هو نتيجة دراسة مكثفة وعميقة لمسيرة زياد وأعماله وأفكاره.

لم نريده يوما بديلا عن عاصي الرحباني, لأنه يفقد هويته عندها, وهكذا كان, متميزا بخطه, ولا يقل موسيقيا وتوزيعيا عن أي ملحن عربي أو عالمي, حتى أنه من ألأفضل بين كثيرين.

أما مسرحيا, فيجب ألإعتراف بأن مسرح زياد ألأكثر واقعية, حتى انك تنسى إن كنت أنت المشاهد أم انك الممثل. زد على ذلك, براعته كممثل.

قدمنا هذه ألأمسية في 5 و6 حزيران 1999, وأسميناها سهرة مع زياد, إستعرضنا فيها 3 مشاهد من 3 مسرحيات له, وأشهر أغانيه. وقد حصلنا مؤخرا على إذن من زياد , بالنسبة الى عملنا القادم في سنة 2004 , وهو تقديم مسرحية من تأليفه , حول كل أعماله وأغانيه, ومن إعداد فرقتنا.
